Whether we like it or not, we live in smaller and smaller spaces. Smaller studios or two-room apartments, unfortunately, result in sacrifices and choices in terms of furniture. One of the things that is often problematic in terms of size is definitely the dining table. You can choose extensible or small tables, but these solutions do not solve the problem definitively. If, in fact, we come to visit friends and guests at home and do we need a large enough table to welcome them and have lunch together? Whether your two-bedroom or one-bedroom apartment is too small to have a decent size dining table, how do you do it?
If I told you that in a space of less than 100 x 40 x 80 cm you could have a dining room for 6 people you probably would not believe it. Yet it is possible and that’s what I want to show you: I’m presenting the Archimedes transformable console. When it is closed, Archimede occupies an area of about 100 cm wide for 40 cm deep and is a refined and modern furnishing element, made entirely by Italian company, with the utmost care of finishes and materials. Few simple operations and the game is done. From the transformable console you can quickly pull out a 170 x 90 cm dining table and 6 modern folding chairs. All takes less than a minute of preparation and you see it clearly in the sequences of images that follow.
